New York Times Finally Endorses Welles Position

In another example of our blog's reach, the New York Times yesterday made its support known for the Colombian Free Trade Agreement. It did so by using a line of reasoning very similar to a post I made about a month ago. While you might think that I would be angry at the New York Times's poaching, I'm just happy that they've seen the light. Now if only President-Elect Obama can be convinced...

Have you approached President-Elect Obama for a cabinet position yet? I hear he has been hiring recently.

Leaving aside the fact that I have written numerous emails that could be embarrassing to the the new president, I'm still a bit to nervous about the new regime to officially put my hat in the ring. Still... I'd take the Fed or Secretary of State if my President offered, but I would need total freedom of action. The Welles plan for Global Economic Triumph and Continued American Hegemony will need some elbow room...Haha
