The bailout Cost more than the rest of U.S. History combined

Well maybe not more than than everything, but you get the point.

I wonder why the "2008 Bailout" is represented as its own pie chart? It's awfully misleading... I also notice some key events are missing from the "Other Projects" chart (WWI and II, anyone?). Overall, I doubt the reliability of this source. Also, is there any story or article associated with this image? Perhaps I only feel this way because it is out of context.

The Bail out is its own pie because it is as big as the other pie. Yes there are some elements missing to make it actually as costly as all of history, I'm sorry if my exaggeration is a little much, but the title on the Image it's self States "The 2008 Bail out vs. Other large Government Projects.” So the Big red pie is a graphic representation of the fact that the bail out is in fact more costly than the other nine major government projects combined multicolored pie. It’s only context, not an argument.

the one question I really have is why it say that the US bailout was for over 4 trillion dollars. thats almost 6 times what I thought the bailout plan was.

This is rediculous. I still find it hard to swallow, but if this is true, that is, the bailout cost more than the all time budget for NASA, then we're really in trouble. ts still hard for me to wrap my head around this amount of money....
